The task of the association in accordance with its statutes is to pass on experience gained from the restructuring of agriculture in Eastern Germany for the privati-sation and the establishment of economic structures in Central- and Eastern Europe.

Fields of activities up to now :

• developing rural areas (projects in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine)
• restructuring agricultural enterprises (projects in Kazakhstan, Lithuania and Ukraine)
• reshaping economic teaching contents (agricultural universities and technical colleges in Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine)
• organising practical work experiences for students and managers from CEECs in the new federal states
• arranging and advising for the set-up of joint agricultural enterprises between partners from Germany and Bulgaria, Lithuania, Ukraine
